Your mission is to build the next generation of trading related applications and services for customers and help improving our modern and dynamic web based trading platform.
What You'll Do:
- Design, build and improve the LYNX application stack used for running our main website, giving visitors the best browsing and learning experience, and a lean way for signing up for masterclasses, podcasts and events, all culminating in the highest conversion rate to client as possible.
- Shape the overall platform architecture and design services for new projects that help us propel the business forward
- Improve the security, reliability and performance of our platform
- Fine-tune and extend our Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes
- Cooperate with teams across our branches in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Gent
What we're Looking For:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in this or a similar role
- Good experience with PHP and PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel and similar)
- Good experience writing and deploying tests
- Good experience with (Vanilla) Javascript and at least one JS framework (preferably React)
- Solid knowledge of SQL, including database performance analysis and optimization
- Experience with CI/CD (Creation of Gitlab jobs, deployment pipelines and automatizations) is a big plus
- Good knowledge developing RESTful services, interfaces with other services based on synchronous and async models
- Experience with Elastic Search is a big plus
- Cloud and container experience (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a big plus
- Very good communication skills and interest to work as part of a cross-functional, distributed, agile team
- Very good English language skills
